-It's rising action creates good suspense and it is a relatively simple story to understand

-How abrupt the love triangle ends, the fact that haymitch, Effie, and Ceasar have all of 10 minutes of screen time, and the fact that it was split into two movies yet it was one book.

-Digs deep into the history of the holidays, suspense is built well, does it's job as a horror film well,

-Outcomes are easy to predict, the beginning of the movie (valentine's day) was very weak, casting of smith's daughter to be a stripper is grotesque
